MATURE-NK
MAnufacturing TUmor-REactive Natural Killer cells

The MATURE-NK project is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network funded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Program of the EU. The network started in June 2018, will run over 4 years and aims to develop anti-cancer immunotherapies based on natural killer (NK) cells.

The consortium is formed by 13 groups located in 9 countries. It provides a balanced combination of basic and clinical research groups with industrial biotech partners. All principal investigators are recognized scientists in their field and 13 Early Stage Researchers (ESR or PhD students) have been recruited following a competitive assessment procedure.

The main objectives of MATURE-NK are to generate knowledge and to develop technologies for exploiting anti-tumor reactivity of NK cells. Reagents and cellular products based on NK cells will be tested in experimental cancer therapies providing the basis for promising future clinical application. As part of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie program, the project will focus on the promotion of excellence of European research and development and we will highlight the achievements of our fellows with a view to support their further career.
